Angel is currently the CEO and President of AER Management (www.AERManagement.com) which Manages several top music acts.

Angel Rodriguez started as a DJ back in 1981 when he was just 16 years old. Angel began as a DJ doing local parties during his Senior year at Miami Senior High School and later continued doing mobile deejay work and a few clubs.

In 1982 Angel was approached to be a part of the Legendary SUPER Q "La Discoteca en el Aire". He was one of the original DJ’s and was a regular DJ at many clubs in Miami. His mixes were played on the radio every Saturday Night for 4 hours. This was a unique show as it played Latin music and Disco mixes and soon became a staple in the Miami market as this show set the trend to the music that was being played at clubs. SUPER Q was the first radio station to transmit live from any club in Miami. Angel, who was one of the 3 Original DJ's with "La Discoteca en el Aire", was with the show for over 4 years. The show won many awards including the coveted Marconi Award by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). The awards are given to radio stations in recognition of their excellence in radio. This award is considered one of the highest honors in radio.

Last year Angel received the 2010 MIAMI DANCE MUSIC AWARD for his contributions to SUPER Q and the hundreds of hours of mixes.


Angel is now producing a new CD with original music that he wrote. This new CD will consist of special invited artists to sing the vocals while he provides all of the music. A wide collaboration of artists will participate in the making of this CD.
